  3. You can drink this either in the morning empty stomach but if want to control hunger pangs or craving have this drink after meals.
  4. Slowly increase its intake starting with one glass to later 2-3 glasses in a whole day.
  5. It is recommended don’t consume this drink more than 2 tablespoons.
  6. If you don’t find the raw or the organic one make sure don’t consume more than 1 tablespoon as its more acidic in nature and definitely dilute it with water.
  7. If you experience any burning or acidity, either reduce the amount of ACV or try drinking it at a different time.
  8. It’s been recommended to drink this by using straw to protect your tooth enamel.
  9. You can also use ACV as a refreshing salad dressing with olive oil instead of using other vinegar or lemon juice.

Bio oil is rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin E, and Vitamin C etc. It contains Lavender Oil, Mineral Oil (as a base), Rosemary Oil, Chamomile Oil etc. and for the fragrance it contains rose oil and orange permitted color.

But as we all know mineral oil is not good for skin therefore to make it healthy we are going to use Jojoba oil and Coconut oil.

I have made this oil earlier as well. You can read this here.

But after so many hits and trails I come up with this homemade bio oil. And I have also added extract which is known for its fairness properties. It makes your skin glowing and fair.

To make this oil, you need –

  • Jojoba (pronounce as ho-ho-ba) Oil and Coconut Oil in 50:50 proportion
  • Vitamin e Oil – 20 Drops
  • Rose Essential Oil – 10 Drops
  • Sandalwood Essential Oil – 10 Drops
  • Licorice Extract – 10 Drops
  • A dark bottle to store (I am reusing my old face serum bottle)

Mix all the ingredients in a dark bottle and mix well.

Now let’s talk about the benefits of all the ingredients used.

Jojoba Oil: It is the most common oil to treat acne, sunburn, inflammations and scaling of skin. It is the most common carrier oil for the essential oil uses.

It is a best skin moisturizer and healer. It is suitable for all skin type. In fact the texture and use of sebum is very similar to jojoba oil. So when you apply this oil our skin automatically produces less sebum oil. It naturally slow down the sign of aging. Its rich in vitamin e, B-Complex, copper, zinc, selenium, iodine, and chromium etc. it doesn’t clog and pores, great for acne prone skin, reduces the sebum production which means it reduces the production of blackheads and whiteheads.

Coconut Oil: It is best night cream. Coconut oil if applied on burns can actually heal them. It got a soothing effect which decreases the intensity of burn and heals that area quickly. Moreover, it contains Capric /Caprylic/Lauric acid which got a strong disinfectant and antimicrobial properties.

Rose essential oil and sandalwood essential oil are known for the properties that can make stretch marks, scars, dark spots disappear naturally.

Licorice Extract: This is considered the most effective herb for the treatment of eczema. It is most used product for skin lightening. It is useful for treatment melisma. Best for fading dark spots, pigmentation.

DIY Activated Charcoal Peel-Off Mask (Without Glue)

I love making DIYs but when it comes to follow something blindly which is going viral over internet, then I am not one of them. If you search about charcoal peel off mask then you will come to know there are so many DIYs but the only drawback; everybody is using PVA glue.

When it comes to skin care when talk about products which are SLA and Paraben free and here we are using product which got chemicals like Polyvinyl acetate. According to this article, it is a type of thermoplastic.

“Poly(vinyl acetate) (PVA, PVAc, poly(ethenyl ethanoate): commonly referred to as wood glue, white glue, carpenter’s glue, school glue, Elmer’s glue in the US, or PVA glue) is an aliphatic rubbery synthetic polymer with the formula (C4H6O2)n. It belongs to the polyvinyl esters family, with the general formula -[RCOOCHCH2]-.“

Imagine you are putting something which is meant for art and craft. Although it says its toxin-free but that doesn’t mean you can apply that to your skin. People also give justification that in childhood we used to play with these glues by applying it on hands and later peeling it off. But you have to understand one thing here that our body’s skin and our face’s skin are different. Our face is way more sensitive and thin as compared to our body.

So what we can do? Continue reading DIY Activated Charcoal Peel-Off Mask (Without Glue)
