It won’t take much of your time but it means a lot to me 🙂

Today hair fall is the biggest concern among men and women. Hair fall can be caused due to heredity, stress, hormonal imbalance, unhealthy lifestyle, crash diets, hard water, pollution, lack of vitamins and many more. We lose around 50-100 strands daily. But when there is a continuous hair fall and no hair regrowth then this becomes the biggest concerns.

There are plenty of hair oil, hair packs and serums which promises to prevent hair loss. In which oiling your scalp with oil is recommended for years and years. One of the reason is when we massage our scalps it stimulates the blood circulation. Also applying the right oil can prevent the roots to die or go under hibernation.

In today’s post we are going to discuss the benefits of Kalonji (black seeds) or Nigella seeds and how to apply this.

Kalonji Oil or Nigella seeds used as antiseptic oil and it’s beneficial for many dieses like blood sugar, blood pressure, body weight and also helps in curing headaches and migraines. If we talk about its benefits for hair, then –

  • It conditions your hair
  • Prevent premature graying
  • Prevent damaging the hair follicles from the effects of free radicals.

I have already shared one amazing hair pack for hair fall and hair regrowth, except its unpleasant smell that hair pack is a boon for your hair. You can find that here –

How to apply?

You can apply this oil directly onto your scalp or you can mix this oil with other carrier oils like coconut oil, olive oil, castor oil etc. If you are applying this concentrated kalonji oil directly without mixing, then make sure you are applying this on a clean scalp and just into your roots.

For hair fall, apply lemon juice into your scalp and massage. Later wash your head with any herbal shampoo. At the end, apply this oil on your scalp with your fingers. Never scratch your head with nails or anything sharp, it may harm the skin of your scalp.

For conditioning your hair, mix this oil into your mehendi or herbal hair pack to boost the benefits.

How to consume?

Kalonji contains amino acids, phosphorous, iron, carotene, albumin etc. it is useful in allergies, joint pain, arthritis, stomach infections, kidney pain or infection, headache, Piles, earache, lack of sleep, dental dieses, psoriasis, acidity, constipation etc.

Take ½ teaspoon of kalonji oil in warm milk or water. Add sugar according to taste and drink this twice a day or as directed by your physician.
